Shipping

We ship all packages Monday through Wednesday. You will receive an email with tracking as soon as your package ships. ALL PACKAGES MUST BE SIGNED FOR ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT OR THE GUARANTEE IS VOID. If the shipment is rejected the customer will be responsible for full cost of invoice. If possible, have your shipment delivered to your business location as there is normally always someone available to sign. All fish shipments will be shipped overnight, plants will be shipped two day and dry goods will be shipped ground. The only exception to this is if you live in Florida. We will ship all packages ground in Florida as they will still arrive the next day. This will save you on shipping charges. Please choose the correct shipping method during checkout so your shipment won't be delayed. If the wrong method is chosen we will contact you to correct it and collect any additional charges. If we feel your dry goods can be shipped safely with the livestock we will do so otherwise you will receive it separately. Shipping charges will be calculated based off of distance and weight of item by UPS. There is an option to calculate shipping when you view your cart. There will be a handling charge of $4 added to each orders shipping charge. This charge is to help cover the cost of the packing materials (i.e. box, styrofoam, heat/ice pack, bags and rubber bands).

Local Pick Up

We have local pick up available if you are in the Tampa area. Just choose local pick up when placing the order and you will not be charged shipping. Please allow a couple hours for us to have your order ready. Weekends may have a longer delay as it is normally a busy time for us. If you will not be picking up same day please let us know in the notes section during checkout with an approximate time of when you will be picking your order up. Orders will only be held for 48 hours. If order has not been picked up after the 48 hours we will refund your purchase minus a 20% restocking fee.

Packaging

We package our livestock to make sure everything arrives in the same condition it left us in. Fish are securely placed in multiple poly bags with pure oxygen, Tranquil to calm the fish and sealed with rubber bands to ensure no leakage during transit. The bags are placed into insulated shipping containers to maintain consistent temperature and protect them from the elements. Heat and cold packs are used to further temperature control container. Containers are placed in boxes and shipped to you. Plants are wrapped in moist paper and placed in a poly bag then sealed with a rubber band. The bags will then be placed in boxes and shipped out.
